The shooting of a man who died days after he was found in a Birmingham parking lot has been ruled justifiable.
Quandarus Boston, 21, was shot Sunday, Sept. 28, in a parking lot on 2nd Avenue North, according to the Birmingham Police Department. That's in the Wahouma neighborhood.
Police say Boston approached a vehicle when someone fired multiple shots before leaving the area.
Boston was taken to UAB Hospital, where he died on Oct. 2.
Information gathered by investigators was presented to the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office, which ruled the actions justifiable.
