SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — For the last 10 years, San Angelo's Mustard Seed Pantry has helped provide food to others.
Volunteers were busy after the historic July 4 flood, helping those whose homes were damaged by the flooding. The organization prepares boxes of food for drive-through distribution for families every other week, and recently has seen an increase in those who need help.
"We did see an upsurge when flood victims came in, but right now, we are also getting a lot more people, it seems lately, don't know why that might be," Mustard Seed Pantry Director Lori Lui said. "We do serve all different kinds of populations. We do see a lot of elderly people that come in, and we are just here for the need."
