GOWER, Mo - A Gower man was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Buchanan County yesterday.

The accident occurred at 2 pm on Missouri Route H, two miles east of Gower. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an SUV driven by an 89-year-old Gower man was eastbound on Route H when he traveled off the south side of the road and overturned.

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
