A major emergency service presence has rushed to the scene of an incident near an Edinburgh shopping centre.
The event unfolded on Monday, October 13, outside the Gyle Shopping Centre in South Gyle.
Several police vehicles, incident response units, and ambulances have been spotted on the scene shortly before 3pm.
Photos of the incident show three emergency vehicles parked near the Nando's on Gyle Avenue.
The vehicles appear to be parked up behind a bus with several officers milling about the scene.
The nature of the incident is not currently known. Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
