TYLER, Texas — Throughout the month of October, PATH is accepting coat donations for children.

For almost 40 years, PATH has distributed winter jackets as part of their annual Coats for Kids campaign. Families only need to go into a PATH office and sign up for the program to receieve a free coat.

"From there, we are asking the community for donations of new or gently used coats, something that would keep you warm," Executive Director Andrea Lobaugh said.

Distribution will be held Saturday, Nov. 15 at First Presbyterian Church from 8 a.m. to noon. Registration ends Oct. 21. Coats can be dropped off at several dry cleaners partnered with PATH:
