Despite Halloween still being weeks away, people are already turning their attention towards Christmas preparations. Numerous high street retailers have started displaying festive merchandise on their shelves, as people are busily organising their Christmas Day menus.

Although Christmas represents one of the year's most hectic retail periods, one major chain has announced it will be closing its doors on Boxing Day. Traditionally, shoppers flock to the high street on December 26 to hunt for bargains and spend their Christmas cash.

However, The Range has confirmed that customers will need to wait until December 27 to visit their outlets, as they'll remain shut on Boxing Day to allow staff some respite.
