ENID, Okla. (KFOR) - An Enid woman has been arrested after her two kids were found locked in a bedroom, police say.

According to the Enid Police Department, officers responded to an apartment complex in Enid after neighbors heard the children yelling for their mother.

Upon arrival, they found the 2-year-old and 4-year-old locked in a bedroom, with one child locked in the closet. Officers also noted the poor conditions of the apartment.

Officials say 25-year-old Kassandra Thomas was arrested on felony complaints of child abuse and child neglect.
