It was Mark Ruffalo to the rescue when Woody Harrelson got into a bar fight in New Orleans.

During the duo’s appearance on Ted Danson’s podcast “Where Everybody Knows Your Name,” Ruffalo told the story of how he helped Harrelson escape a brawl at a bar in New Orleans while they were filming “Now You See Me” in 2013.

“We were shooting ‘Now You See Me’ in New Orleans, completely on the streets. Totally wild," Ruffalo says on the podcast, according to Entertainment Weekly . “Capturing stuff on a long lens, getting dragged into bars during the middle of a scene, like in the middle of Mardi Gras.”

Ruffalo says he and Harrelson decided to go to a “packed bar” after they had finished filming for the day.

“And a woman came up to (Harrelson) and she said, ‘Oh my God, I love you so much,’”
