HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point police have arrested a man in connection to a deadly shooting on Oct. 10, according to a press release.
The initial shooting happened near Fern Avenue and Kent Street, where 35-year-old Quadarius Hill was injured. He and a second victim where taken to the hospital, where he later died.
28-year-old Kahlil Barrier was taken into custody Friday and charged with first-degree murder and attempted first degree-murder.
Officers say they believe the suspect knew the victims. Barrier remains in jail with no bond.
