RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- It was a full day at he North Carolina State Fair, especially for the ABC 11 Team.

"I passed. The "Jeopardy" Test. I've been waiting to be on "Jeopardy" all my life," said Richard Tillies.

Tillies was one of 25 other Fair Fans and 11 N.C. State University students who passed the first round of the test at the "Jeopardy" booth. They will go on to a second found of interviews over Zoom. Those who pass, move onto a third round of a "game play" audition.

Tillies said it was the dream of a lifetime to make it as a contestant on "Jeopardy".
