The impact of the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) cyber attack could be felt for at least six months, according to supply chain firms working under the car giant.

The hack, which halted JLR's production, has been financially disastrous for the company and smaller supply firms.

Jonathan Dudley , the head of manufacturing and accountant at Crowe, has told the BBC that small, owner-managed firms which supply JLR have been hit hardest.

He said: "The vast majority of them are calling for more help. Businesses say they can't see cash flow coming right for at least six months - that's serious.
