In Barrington, Scouting America is once again collecting non-perishable food to support Tap-In, the local food pantry serving Rhode Island's East Bay.

Organizers are asking people to check expiration dates and consider donating healthy, non-expired items that are in high demand. These include canned fruits and vegetables, soups, tuna, chicken, rice, pasta, peanut butter, and cereal.
