A major cordon was put in place as emergency services responded to concerns for a man's welfare in Stockport .

Police, firefighters and paramedics all attended Aberdeen Crescent, in Edgeley , at around 9pm on Sunday night (November 9).

Streets were taped off in the area , with multiple emergency service vehicles seen parked up in attendance.

In an update issued this morning (Monday), Greater Manchester Police confirmed it was responding to concerns for a man's welfare.

The incident was brought to a safe conclusion following efforts from the emergency services.
