ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Police arrested Atlanta rapper Rod Wave on drugs and gun charges last week after he allegedly sped through a stop sign in a residential neighborhood, according to an arrest warrant.
Atlanta police said the rapper, whose real name is Rodarius Green, was arrested Friday night on charges of:
Possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies
Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance
Reckless driving
Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act (VGCSA) - Possession of a Schedule V controlled substance
Green was released Saturday on a $8,000 bond.
