Coolidge Park is a Chattanooga favorite among many. You can often find families taking walks, friends enjoying a picnic, and children on the play area.
Now, city and state leaders say the park is getting a major upgrade. The City of Chattanooga was awarded a $90,000 grant from the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. The grant will help pay for a new bandshell that will cover the Coolidge Park stage.
This project is made up of three components: a new stage, a weather protective bandshell, and a dedicated electric system.
