MID-HUDSON- Meteorologists are encouraging residents to prepare for the possibility of the season’s first significant snowfall which may arrive to the Mid-Hudson region on Tuesday. According to the latest forecast, Tuesday’s high will sit near the freezing mark with between two and four inches of snow expected.
Forecasts indicate that snow may begin late Monday night and continue through Tuesday, with accumulating snow likely across much of the region. If the forecast holds, Tuesday’s storm could deliver the first accumulating snow of the winter season, bringing slippery roads, slick sidewalks, and potential travel delays.
Road crews will ready plows and salt trucks and drivers are advised to allow extra travel time and use caution on untreated surfaces.
Though confidence is growing,
