Snow showers during Monday AM commute could impact travel
Snow showers moving through the Omaha metro Monday will give us travel impacts during the morning commute.
A First Alert 6 Weather Day has been called by our weather team for Monday, as drivers should be ready for the potential for slick roads.
“The peak window for steady snow showers in the metro will be between 7 and 9 AM, right when a lot of people will be returning to the roads after the holiday,” Meteorologist Jaret Lansford says.
As the amounts of snow are expected to be light — less than an inch in the metro — the timing is the issue with the morning round of snow.
