LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

One of the staples of the holiday season in Louisville is back, as Fête de Noël

has returned to Paristown .

According to Paristown's Jeanne Hilt, the yearly event returns with all of its hallmarks.

"Brent Street Holiday Market, 20 vendors there, all local," Hilt said. "We have Santa House, Santa is in the house quite a bit, so just go to Paristown.com to get the times on that."

Skating in Paristown also returns this year, and Fête de Noël is getting closer to a decade in Paristown. According to Hilt, the event's longevity is due to one main factor.

"This is our seventh year, and what's kept it alive is that the community has really embraced what we have done here in creating this wonderful holiday activation," Hilt said.
