STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A car that made an improper lane change in front of an ODOT snowplow ended up being pushed along a Stark County highway, and the crash was caught on camera.
ODOT said on Dec. 5 that their plow was struck while on I-77 when a car driving behind the truck made the improper lane change.
Soon after the ODOT driver got on I-77, video showed the car tried to merge into the left lane the truck was in and smashed right into the plow.
The car was then propelled perpendicular to the highway and the plow, which pushed it until the ODOT truck came to a stop.
ODOT said this crash was the eighth snowplow that has been struck this season statewide.
“Please slow down and give our crews plenty of room to work to help ensure the safety of everyone!” ODOT urged.
