Assam Police will submit a charge sheet on December 12 in the case of singer Zubeen Garg’s death. Special DG of CID, Munna Prasad Gupta, who is leading the investigation, said on Saturday that the inquiry has now been completed. So far, seven people have been arrested, and over 300 witnesses have been questioned.

Zubeen passed away on September 19 in Singapore after drowning while scuba diving.

Gupta added that further details will be shared only after the charge sheet is filed.

Zubeen sang over 38,000 songs in 40 languages

Zubeen was born on November 18, 1972, in the Tinsukia district of Assam. He worked as a singer, composer, lyricist, actor, and director in both the Assamese and Hindi film industries.
