NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WPTA) - The New Haven Community Foundation distributed gifts from the 2nd annual Bulldog Holiday Toy Drive on Saturday.
From 12 to 3 p.m., eligible families made their way to the New Haven Community Center to select toys.
Santa also made a special visit from the North Pole to greet any children there.
Any families that live, work, or have a child attending school in New Haven were eligible for the program.
“...Seeing people come out and donate all kinds of toys is really nice,” said Amanda Zimmerman, coordinator of the Bulldog Holiday Toy Drive. “Everybody in New Haven is pretty tight-knit, so helping out kids is always a passion for New Haven.”
