The next chief executive officer of Aspen Valley Health opened his remarks Monday with a promise to update his wardrobe when he starts Jan. 26.

“I could not be more excited,” Dr. Richard Becker told the AVH board during its monthly meeting. He acknowledged the “Welcome, Dr. Becker” slide showing him in a coat and tie, saying he looked forward to trading the suit for something more Aspen. “I’m thrilled to be able to shed the suit and, you know, get to work in Aspen.”
