Former Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore was arrested on Wednesday, hours after being fired as the Wolverines head coach.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter joined Get Up Thursday morning to share the latest on Moore’s situation.

The update included a report from Schefter stating that Sherrone Moore spent Wednesday night in jail.

“The school gathered together the coaches yesterday afternoon and the players to inform them of Sherrone Moore’s firing. The school fired him for cause. And obviously there are so many layers to this that are sad, troubling, disconcerting and cautionary,” Schefter said. “And essentially after his firing, he wound up being detained by police.
