NEW BOSTON, Texas - The Vietnam Moving Wall -- a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. -- is coming to East Texas later this week.

The New Boston Chamber of Commerce began working on plans to bring the moving wall to New Boston a year ago. It arrives Thursday.

“It's incredibly moving, emotional. It's very spiritual. It's the kind of thing I say, and I've been kind of mocked about it, but I don't care, if you don't leave this wall crying, there's something wrong,” said Bernie Martin, commerce treasurer.

The wall is about 250 feet long and displays more than 58,000 names of all Americans killed in the Vietnam War. It will be on display at Trailhead Park in downtown New Boston.
