The new Hope Gas Ice Pavilion at Mylan Park officially opened its doors early Monday afternoon, promising to bring more recreation not just to the community, but to the region as a whole.

The new 48,000 square-foot facility boasts a full NHL-sized ice surface with seating for up to 1,200 spectators to support local, regional, and tournament play.

New locker rooms and training facilities were also built, designed for the local leagues and clubs that use the facility throughout the year.
