MADISON COUNTY, Neb. (KTIV) - A crash in Madison County is under investigation, after a collision took place in Madison County, Neb on Sunday.
On Sept. 14, at 1 p.m., deputies at the Madison County Sheriff’s Office were called to a two-vehicle collision with reported injuries at the intersection of Highway 31 and Highway 31.
Deputies say a preliminary investigation shows a 51-year-old resident of Madison, traveling eastbound, failed to yield to oncoming traffic when entering the intersection. A vehicle traveling south, driven by a 25-year-old resident of Lincoln, Neb., reportedly struck the first vehicle.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says deputies then arrived to divert traffic so first responders could assess the scene of the collision.
