NORFOLK, Va. — For the first time since moving to the FBS ranks, Old Dominion football (4-1) is getting some national recognition. The Monarchs received votes in this week’s Top 25 Coaches Poll on Monday following a statement victory Saturday night in Norfolk.

Behind a monster performance from quarterback Colton Joseph, ODU rolled to a 47–7 win over Coastal Carolina. Joseph accounted for five of the Monarchs’ touchdowns, leading an offense that was in control from start to finish.
