JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. —

A hole turned into a full road collapse in Jeffersontown on Tuesday when heavy rains fell across the region.

The collapse happened late afternoon on Plantside Drive between Bunsen Way and Carton Drive.

A worker at the site shared video of the road as it starting caving in further. Watch in the video player at the top.

According to Public Works officials, the collapse was likely caused by flooding.
