MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man accused of pulling a gun during a party at the University of Memphis over the weekend is due in court Monday.

Donald Wade is charged with aggravated assault and acting as a security guard without a registration card.

According to police records, multiple witnesses told police Wade pulled a black handgun from his waistband after an argument at a fraternity house on Mynders Avenue Sunday.

Witnesses say Wade racked a round in the chamber before pointing the gun at multiple people and making threats.

Wade told police that he was working as armed security at the event and did not have a registration card, according to police records.

University police made the scene and took Wade into custody after reportedly being identified by multiple witnesses.
