Drivers along the Ben Franklin Parkway will have to deal with lane closures for a sidewalk construction project at Logan Square on Monday.

Drivers along the Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia should be aware that a construction project at Logan Square could cause some traffic issues along the roadway for the next few months.

PennDOT officials have announced that, starting Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, crews will begin a sidewalk and curb improvement project along the parkway, at Logan Square, between 18th and 20th streets, that will cause weekday lane closures in that area.
