A Michigan law firm that analyzed state crash data says the three most dangerous intersections in Wayne County span three different communities, but all are among the worst in the state.

Michigan Auto Law , based in Farmington Hills, specializes in auto crash cases and compiled a list of “most dangerous intersections,” based upon data from Michigan State Police data.

Sixteen of the top 20 most dangerous intersections were in Oakland, Macomb or Wayne County, according to the report.

The law firm says Schoolcraft Road/Interstate 96 at Telegraph Road is the most dangerous intersection in Wayne County, with 137 crashes and 26 injuries in 2024. Crashes decreased from 154 in 2023 to 137 in 2024.
